Fruity Birds is mostly about the future, sci-fi, and so on.

The inspiration is not just men's magazines. That's probably the smallest portion of its DNA. I derive most of my inspiration from Boingboing, Fruits (magazine), Whole Earth Catalog, Popeye (magazine), Cometbus, Rookie (magazine), and Wizard (magazine).
